Varuna is the ancient Vedic Lord of Waters. At different times in history it has been the chief God of ancient Vedic lore above even Indra, the God of Fire.

It symbolizes balance and law as well as the fluidity of water, a rare combination in these rigid times.  On November 28, 2003 a planetoid out past Pluto, also now a planetoid, became designated Varuna.

Every 2000-2500 years the Earth’s axis points to a new constellation.  In Hebrew lore, Moses time went from Taurus the Bull, to the Golden Calf, to the Ram, or Aries. Jesus time was marked by his becoming the Scapegoat, the Lamb, to usher in the age of Pisces, the fish.
